Analytical results for a minimalist thermal diode

چکیده
We consider a system consisting of two interacting classical particles, each one subject to an on-site potential and Langevin thermal bath. analytically calculate the heat current that can be established through when bath temperatures are different, for weak nonlinear forces. explore conditions under which diode effect emerges inverting temperature difference. Despite simplicity this two-particle diode, intricate dependence on parameters is put in evidence. Moreover, behaviors reported long chains particles extracted, instance, flux with interfacial stiffness type forces present, as well dependencies required rectification. These analytical results tool foresee distinct role diverse types nonlinearity asymmetry play conduction
